CrossFit Rivne: Pray. Give. Go

Ukraine Box Striving to Develop More than Fitness

Director of Fellowship of Christian Athletes Ukraine, Andriy Kravtsov, built CrossFit Rivne in battle-torn Ukraine from the ground up to leverage the intense fitness regimen to create lasting impact in the people of Ukraine, and glorify God.

Says Kravtsov, “‘…to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God…' Romans 12:1 This is CrossFit for us…it's life, it's friends, it's also the church. Our vision is not just about seeing people do CrossFit or making new friends, but we want to glorify the name of our King, our God…in every area of our life.”

How is that possible? Check out Philippians 4:1-9 where Paul provides “Practical Counsel:” stand firm in the Lord, rejoice in the Lord always, be gracious to everyone, don't worry about anything, give thanks through prayer, ask God for what you need, and allow the peace of God to guard your heart and mind.

Faith Rx'd recently shared bios written by CrossFit Games competitors like Rich Froning, Dan Bailey, and Chris Spealler from our Athlete New Testament with Kravtsov which are now being translated and shared with coaches and athletes there. You can obtain the English version in our store at http://faithrxd.org/shop/athlete-new-testament/.

Kravtsov and CrossFit Rivne now host the Faith Rx'd Rivne chapter, only the second international chapter, behind North Devon in the UK currently led by Matt Wilcox.
