Galatians 5:13

REFLECT

In our tight-knit community, serving others is like nourishing our souls. Just as we need food to nourish our bodies, helping others fills us up and makes us feel fulfilled. We understand that by sharing our time, talents, and resources, we not only make a positive impact on the world but also grow as individuals.

As Jesus said in Matthew 25:40, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

By serving others, we fulfill our calling as Christians to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and carry out his teachings in the world.

We volunteer our time when we can. We understand that helping others points us heavenward.

Just as Jesus gave his time to all people, regardless of their social standing, we are called to serve others without prejudice or discrimination. By offering our time, talents, and resources to those in need, we provide a shelter of comfort and care for those in need.

When we selflessly volunteer our time, it becomes a win-win situation. Not only do we have the opportunity to lift someone else up, but we also draw closer to the Lord in the process.

There are opportunities to help and serve others everywhere. And if we ask God to help us find someone, he will help guide us to those in need.

By selflessly offering our time and resources, we have the opportunity to positively impact others, reminding them that they are loved, valued, and appreciated. Whether it’s through lending a listening ear, helping someone with a task, or simply offering a kind word, we have the ability to make a meaningful difference in the world.
