REFLECT

In our world, where success is defined by wealth, it’s easy to get caught up in the pursuit of riches. We see people who have achieved great financial success, and we want that for ourselves. But as Christians, we need to remember that our focus should not be on materialism and riches but on giving glory to God.

When we focus on riches, we essentially say that we trust our abilities and resources to provide for us. But the Bible tells us that we should not trust in ourselves but in God.

In Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” This means that if we focus on following God and doing his will, he will provide for our needs.

When we give glory to God, we acknowledge that He is the source of all our blessings. We are also saying that we are grateful for his provision and want to use our resources to further his kingdom. Giving glory to God can lead to more immense blessings in our personal lives. When we are focused on God, he can work miracles in our lives. He can provide for our needs, heal our sicknesses, and give us peace and joy.

When we see the glory of God, we are filled with awe and wonder. We know that we are in the presence of something truly amazing. And we are humbled by the thought that God loves us and has saved us for His eternal glory.

When we are going through hard times, God’s glory can surround us and protect us, making us feel loved and cared for.

Think of God’s glory is like a warm blanket that we can wrap ourselves in. It is a reminder that we are not alone, and that God is with us always. It is a source of hope and strength, helping us to get through the tough times.
