Iron Sharpens Iron Miami

Grow in faith & fitness as you train with our world-class coaches and connect with fellow athletes, coaches and box owners! Learn how your faith can bring renewed purpose to your athletic performance, profession and relationships, and steer you in the direction God desires for your life.

Skill sessions expose you to instruction and analysis in all three elements of movement: weightlifting, gymnastics, and monostructural (kettlebells, etc). Reinforce each of the skill types in an inspirational and constructive environment with workouts providing opportunity for application and additional guidance. Up your game as you build safe, efficient and effective technique for a lifetime.

A copy of the Athlete New Testament, Faith Rx'd shirt or tank, wristband, healthy dinner Saturday night, and perspective on how to honor God through your training and life are all part of the experience! You'll also have the opportunity to join an event-specific Facebook group where you can continue to be encouraged by fellow participants and coaches long after the event has concluded!

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.” -Proverbs 27:17

Feedback from our Previous Events

“One of the most powerful events I've ever been a part of. The seminar has changed many things in my personal and faith life and I can’t thank the coaches enough for how well the event was managed.”

“I absolutely LOVED my experience!”

“ISI was truly what it says – pursuing excellence and being challenged spiritually, physically and mentally.”

“Wonderful! I needed to see that it was possible to incorporate two passions and have them work together for the better.”

“Thank you! I thought ISI was a great use of my time and money.”

“The blend of so many CF and faith-based elements made for a well-rounded weekend, and the staff, their professionalism and desire to invest themselves ultimately made the event a top-notch experience.”

“Combining workouts with great sessions on God and Faith just doesn't get much better.”

“It by far exceeded my expectations, and was hands down the best training event I have attended. Coming together, learning from the best, and sharing our love and faith in Christ was very powerful. The event has extremely motivated me to use the gifts God has given me, and I want to invest more time serving God, and less time just living for myself.”

“It has greatly impacted me and the love and motivation felt at the event was incredible.”

“I felt called to be there and I am definitely praying about my next steps. I honestly feel this is the type of thing God has been preparing me for and this may be where I start by helping with this ministry.”

FAQ

How often and where do you offer these seminars?

We currently offer our ISI seminars only three times per year (once every four months) at a large CrossFit affiliate in the US.  We hope to offer them in other countries in the future.

What if I own a box and want to host one?

Please click here.

Do I have to be an “elite” athlete, box owner or coach to participate?

Not at all! Whatever profession or direction you scale workouts (up or down), you will leave with a better understanding of movement power and efficiency, and a clearer vision of how to carry out your faith in your sphere of influence.

Do I have to be a Christian to attend?

No! We welcome and encourage everyone to attend. There will be high level coaching as well as a clear presentation of the Christian gospel and opportunities to grow in your faith and ask questions.

How many will be able to attend?

We cap at 60.

Will the host gym have showers with soap?

We'll update here.

Note: purchased tickets are not refundable but are transferable through coordination with Faith Rx'd.

RECREATION OPTIONS

Rock Climbing Challenge yourself on one of three 45-foot high rock wall faces. Follow a route or create your own and give the cowbell a ring at the top to let those below know you conquered the wall.

The Screamer Go as high as you would like while holding onto your release on this big human swing. Once you let go, you will see where we get the name.

Zipline Zip across the 903-foot long cable which spans the width of Lake Ted. The climb up to the platform from which you jump is just half the fun. This exhilarating ride sheds new light on taking your breath away. Gliding across the beautiful lake is a view you can get only from Balcones Springs.

Quick Jump Put gravity to the test and you take a step off the edge of their newest high ropes element tower.

Rainbow Serpent Dive headfirst into the colorful netting as you descend 45 feet from a new tower.

Lake Ted Lake Ted is a private, spring-fed lake. If you enjoy swimming, fishing or canoeing, Lake Ted provides a tranquil, secluded area for these activities. There are two points to launch from: the floating dock (or Lowline Bridge) that connects the main property to Balcones Beach and the blob dock just below the Big Thicket. We also have water toys such as: the Blob, a water trampoline, Bermuda Triangle slide, a rope swing, and our 75-foot long, 30-foot drop water slide that we lovingly have called “The Wedginator”

Take Aim If you would like a challenge in marksmanship we have a riflery, skeet, and archery range where you can test your accuracy (equipment provided).

Riding We provide trail rides throughout the rolling hills of wilderness on our property to the shores of Lake Travis. Whether you’re an experienced equestrian or a first-timer, our trail rides are for anyone who likes to adventure in the great outdoors. (additional cost)

Outside of the facilitated activities, numerous other activities include: Tennis Courts, Sand Volleyball Courts, a covered and lit Basketball Pavilion, Baseball Diamond, Soccer/Football Field, 18-Hole Frisbee Golf Course, Fishing, Ping Pong, Tether-ball, Gaga Ball Pits, Canoes, Kayaks, and Paddleboards – all of which equipment is provided on-site.
