Before every workout, the coach shows the correct form for each movement. We learn that you are much more prone to injury if you don’t follow instructions as you squat, thrust, push, lift, etc.
When the timer starts, the coach watches everyone to ensure they are doing the workout correctly. For those who still struggle with the proper form, the coach redemonstrates how to do the exercise. If you don’t, you can get seriously injured.
- Have you used the wrong form during a workout? If so, what was the result?
Doing things right is critical as we draw closer to Jesus Christ. We set ourselves up for spiritual injury when we don’t read Scripture, build on our testimony, or follow Him.
Competitors must practice the proper form during the workout and in their relationship with Him. As we do, the promise is that “we will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.”
In addition, as we do these things, Philippians 4:7 tells us we will have the peace of God, which “surpasses all understanding.”
Both of these things are rewards for practicing the right spiritual form.
