Our devotion to Jesus is fueled by an earnest love for His gospel, not by duty. We do not embrace the path of Christ out of compulsion; rather, our faith thrives because we have experienced the profound, life-altering power that accompanies the acceptance of Jesus as our Savior. Placing Him at the core of our existence has resulted in a remarkable transformation.
The fruits of our faith are abundant, though many are intangible. They are not always visible to the naked eye, but they resonate within the depths of our souls with a force that defies explanation. Our actions, driven by this profound connection, are a conscious effort to please God and to nurture a fertile terrain where the seeds of His Word can flourish across the expanses of the world.
We do not embark on acts of kindness and righteousness out of mere duty, but with the awareness that they reverberate with divine approval. Our lives are thus channels through which the essence of His teachings can permeate even the remotest corners of the earth, sowing the seeds of His message in hearts and minds.
Hebrews 13:21 reads, “Equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
The verse emphasizes the importance of doing good things with the aim of pleasing God. This reminds us that our actions should not be driven by personal gain or recognition, but by a sincere desire to honor and please God. When we do good things with the right motive, we bring glory to God and make the world a better place.
