REFLECT
Competitors thrive on the thrill of the competition. They relish pushing themselves to their limits during workouts and embrace the physical challenge and sweat-inducing exertion. As they begin to see the fruits of their labor, competitors become addicted to setting higher goals and striving towards becoming the ultimate version of themselves.
Competitors love to win. They know winning isn’t always about winning the gold medal or first-place trophy. Winning to a true competitor means pushing themselves to deliver their absolute best. It means overcoming obstacles and challenges, learning from each experience, and growing stronger and more resilient with each setback.
Competitors love and are addicted to progress. They show up every day, pushing themselves to their limits and beyond, using their passion for improvement as fuel to light up their workouts and their lives. With each rep, each set, and each WOD, they chart a course towards their ultimate goal: becoming the strongest, fittest, and most unstoppable version of themselves.
Competitors also love Jesus.
Our faith is not just a Sunday ritual or a superficial gesture, but a way of life that permeates everything we do. And because of this commitment, we have developed a deep and abiding relationship with God that sustains us.
So, as you prepare to compete, remember that you are not just competing against others, but with fellow believers who share your passion for Jesus. Keep your faith at the forefront of your mind and trust that He will guide you every step of the way. For with Him by your side, there is nothing that you cannot accomplish!
Philippians says, “For it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Simply put, when we love God He doesn’t just help support us, but works through us.
