In today’s world, we have many resources at our disposal. But years ago, it wasn’t so. Getting the answers to questions came from going to the library, consulting professionals in their respective fields, or looking something up in a phone book. It doesn’t take more than a few seconds or minutes to get an answer to a question today.
However, in our technology-driven world, it is easy to lose sight of our lives as believers amidst constant distractions. Like a mesmerizing digital oasis, we find ourselves immersed in the convenience of having information at our fingertips, inadvertently taking for granted the profound blessing of knowledge surrounding us like a vast and fertile landscape.
God, in His abundant grace, has bestowed upon us a treasure trove of resources intended explicitly for advancing His kingdom. These divine provisions are not meant to lie dormant but to be embraced and utilized wholeheartedly, enabling us to actively contribute to the noble cause of the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:58 tells us to give ourselves to the work of the Lord. “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.” The Lord has showered us with immeasurable blessings that exceed our capacity to repay. However, the true essence lies not in the act of repayment, but in recognizing that every good thing we possess is a gracious bestowal from Christ Himself.
His profound love for us compels Him to bless us abundantly, empowering us to excel in carrying out our divine purpose as devoted followers of God. Let us use His resources and the ones around us to do kingdom-focused work and serve Him with true intent and purpose.
