REFLECT
What do the depths of our hearts yearn for? What aspirations stir within our souls? These are profound questions we must ask ourselves as we journey through life. What is our purpose? What do we want to achieve? How can we live in alignment with our values and our highest selves?
These questions are not easy to answer but essential to live a meaningful and fulfilling life. We must be honest with ourselves about what we want and value. We must be willing to take risks and step outside our comfort zones. And we need to be open to the possibility of change.
As we strive to live in accordance with a higher purpose, we also align ourselves with God’s divine will. God’s will is not something we should ignore, but rather something we should follow, as it will lead to blessings beyond our comprehension.
The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” This may seem simple, but it can be challenging to follow, especially when facing difficult circumstances. However, when we choose to rejoice, pray, and give thanks in all circumstances, we align ourselves with God’s will and open ourselves up to God’s hand in our lives.
We should never forget that the depth of God’s love for us exceeds our understanding. He desires to bestow blessings upon our lives and guide us along the journey toward Him. However, these blessings become accessible solely through our connection with Jesus.
Turning to Jesus involves more than seeking His aid during our greatest need. It entails making Him the focal point of our existence and perpetually cherishing His past and ongoing contributions to our lives. This commitment represents the essential investment required to embrace the abundance of God’s love and blessings fully.
