“Put on your sword, O mighty warrior! You are so glorious, so majestic! In your majesty, ride out to victory, defending truth, humility and justice. Go forth to perform awe-inspiring deeds!
Your arrows are sharp, piercing your enemies’ hearts. The nations will fall beneath your feet.” Psalm 45:3-4
“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.” Ephesians 6:10-12, 18
The secular society paints Christians as weak, meek and mild; as people who follow an imaginary god to make them feel better about themselves. Yet the Bible is FULL of heroes, men and women anointed by God to carry out tasks they thought were beyond their abilities.
Throughout history Christians have suffered persecution and murder for their belief in a righteous God; Christians have faced up to the haters, the perpetrators of horrendous crimes;
Christians continually protect the weak, they are not the weak!
