Do you begin your day with gratitude, remembering God’s presence and His beautiful creation? As believers, it’s easy to get entangled in life’s daily demands and forget the transformative power of recalling Jesus and His love. For, as we often find, forgetting God is inadvertently inviting more sin and mistakes into our lives.
In Hebrews, we are told to fix our eyes on Jesus. “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
Think about the benefits of remembering Jesus during the day.
Consistently remembering Christ reinforces your faith. It deepens your relationship with the divine, fosters trust in God’s plan and helps you rely on His guidance and strength. This, in turn, can lead to greater resilience and a stronger foundation for your spiritual journey.
Regularly remembering Christ and His teachings can be a moral compass in your daily decisions and actions. It reminds you of the values and principles that align with your faith, helping you make choices consistent with your spiritual beliefs. This can lead to a life characterized by greater integrity and ethical behavior.
In addition, remembering Christ throughout the day increasing our testimony of Him. When we look at Him in all we do, we can better follow his example.
Lastly, remembering Christ throughout the day helps you maintain a perspective centered on faith and spirituality. It reminds you that there is a higher purpose and a divine presence in your life, which can bring comfort, peace, and a sense of direction, even amid life’s challenges.
