Have you ever encountered the advice to “find your center”? What thoughts did this evoke within you? In the realm of competition, the concept of discovering our center holds profound significance.

When we manage to achieve this inner equilibrium, our performance during workouts elevates, enabling us to accomplish far more than we might have imagined.

Numerous benefits come from achieving focus in our lives. Some of those benefits include reducing our stress, increasing our productivity, improving our memory, and making more better decisions.

In Corinthians, we are told to keep our focus on God. The Scripture reads, “Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”

As believers, when are focused spiritually, with our eyes on Him, we can see things that we couldn’t see before. In addition, we understand God better.

Why is that?

Because Jesus blesses those who follow him and dedicate their lives to His work. Think about the happiest people you’ve seen in your life. They are happy because they walk in the path of Jesus Christ, apply his timeless and eternal teachings to their life, and share His message with the world.

Acts tell us that we will have power as we share His Word. “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” This is the promise of discipleship and spreading His message to others, of building His kingdom today.
