Today’s podcast is a little different than what we normally publish. Instead of an interview, we are sharing the BELIEVE talk from True Strength College Station. It was given by Coach Ben Alderman, owner of Iron Mile fitness, and creator of the Iron Mile, a mile long walk with a yoke.

 

He shares what it means to believe in Jesus. It is the first part of what we believe is the prescription for faith, which, in its entirety, is BELIEVE, FOLLOW, LOVE. Believe in Jesus. Follow what he says. Go out and love people.

 

He shares the three main points:

  1. Belief is the foundation of our walk with God and allows us to move in a direction to please God.
  2. We all must come to a place where we believe in God through faith in Christ and his work on the Cross to save us from our sins.
  3. True belief is more than saying something out loud in hopes to manifest inward change. Instead it’s the inward change that manifests outwardly.

 

 

Prayer:

Father, I believe in you. I’m so grateful that you sent your son to die for my sins so that I can be in relationship with you and one day be with you in Heaven. Make my life a living sacrifice that lives for you each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
