Ephesians 3:16

REFLECT

God’s divine hand appears during unexpected times and some of our most significant challenges. However, today’s culture would have us believe that miracles don’t exist and prayers aren’t answered.

But we know that God hears us and our prayers. The evidence is all around us. His power has transformed lives everywhere.

The following story shows how God answered the prayer of a distraught father.

His wife had to have an emergency C-section. When his son was delivered, there was no cry or noise. Immediately, medical professionals brought the unresponsive boy into the resuscitation room.

The father followed the team into the room and asked the medical team what was happening. His son was purple and blue.

“He’s not responding. We are going to everything that we can.”

The words pierced the father to the very center of his soul. He had already been praying silently during his wife’s emergency procedure. Now it was time to offer another plea to the heavens.

Tears streamed down his cheeks during his heartfelt prayer. He only asked God for one thing: To save his son.

About two minutes later, his baby’s color began to change, followed by open eyes and angry cries. One of the staff members turned his head to look at the father. “Your boy is a fighter,” he said.

However, despite the miracle unfolding in front of the dad’s eyes, a neonatal specialist had some other bad news for the dad. “Your boy likely has brain damage and must be flown to another hospital with more resources.”

The father prayed again, and his child made a miraculous turnaround.

This is just one example of God’s divine hand in someone’s life. These stories could fill endless libraries, inspiring people to rejoice in the goodness of God.
