We’ve got your daily encouragement, written by Jacob Reed.

Bible Reading:

“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1:6

Word:

Can you imagine the celebration in Heaven when someone who was totally lost is changed and becomes an absolute masterpiece and testament to the grace of our Father?

For example, Paul. When he miraculously went from an enemy of Jesus to a complete force for him. Can you truly grasp the joy of the Father when Paul began his journey and as he persevered, become more like Jesus, and finally finished his race? Can you see God’s joy over that work?

How about another example— YOU. Can you take a second to feel His joy over what is happening in YOU? How Heaven itself anticipates your triumphant entrance?

God made us in His image. We can have perseverance because He models perfect perseverance in the way He keeps working on us, changing us, and cheering us on. How awesome to know, that wherever we are, we’ve only just begun!

Open your heart and mind to what your loving Father is doing in you and wants to do through you. There is a celebration over you!

Prayer:

Lord, capture my heart. Wrap your arms around my life and let’s journey together all the way until the day that this work is finished.  Also, I reject the lie that you aren’t working in my life because I have to be good enough first. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Skillwork:

Raise your hands, look up, and know that this Good Work has begun.
