This is a psalm of protection when we face danger; the psalm for a warrior going into battle. The Christian Soldier relies on their faith to overcome fear when facing the enemy: an enemy who may be another human, or a spiritual one. No matter the situation nor the outcome, God wins. The War is Won. But the battles continue. As we reflect on the past and current conflicts in the world, may we remember the sacrifices made, grieve for those who have perished, rejoice for those who have eternal life, and continue to pray for peace.
- Give thanks to the One who made the ultimate sacrifice on the Cross.
